Well after many years of thinking, worrying and just ignoring the situation we finally got around to trying out that big thing under the orange tarp. Just the light took several long days of work and expert help from our Searchlight friend David Orlando with California Searchlights. We knew the Herculese engine was OK after Howard did some fine tuning. Right on schedule just as we were about to fire the engine and flip the switch for the light it started to rain. This is Washington after all.
We started early hoping the cloud cover would make it get dark early.
